Analysis Question Number 2

The United States is currently engaged in very sensitive negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program. The State Department asks you, as a consultant in cross-cultural communications, to give them some tips on how their diplomats should plan their negotiations. To answer this question, think about what factors might influence the communication (setting, non-verbals, language, etc.) and give what you think is the most important advice. You don't have to be an Iranian culture or politics expert, but you can tell them what to look for as something to be concerned about.

Please provide a short answer by Wednesday, 5pm.

First Analysis Question

Here's the question: What kinds of identity conflicts have emerged over the summer in the debates we've seen about U.S. health care reform? Do you think identity plays a big role in this debate (explicitly, or perhaps implicitly)? Please post your answer to the question by Tuesday of next week.
